So here my situation, I just started school back, and I'm in independent study pre calc ( cause of my schedule and I'm a year ahead in math) which isn't working out. There's no instruction, it's pretty much here the book and here's your homework. I can't learn like that. So I'll probably end up doing Georgia virtual school pre calc...any idea of how well this course or online courses are in general? Will it prepare me for ap calc? I don't think anyone from my school has gotten a 5 on an ap calc exam, and I hope to be the first. So what are your thoughts?

Can you explain why you can’t learn like that (i.e. specify the problem)?

I need to see someone show me the problem, I don’t need a teacher to coax me along, but I need a teacher to show me real quick and explain.
