So… I took 8 AP Tests, all of which I got 4s and 5s on.
For the self-reporting AP Tests part… I didn’t submit them.
Yes, this was the stupidest thing that I have ever done and there is basically no use in crying over this. I emailed them about the issue with my AP test scores. They might think that I am an idiot, but is there any way I can make this up? Sure I have heard that AP test self-reporting is not a major factor and that it is more important that I took them. BUT. I actually did well and I am honestly so angry because I focused way too much on my essays to read the self-reporting section thoroughly.
I’m probably just asking for an answer I already know. Is there even the slightest thing that I can do to make it up?
Take a screenshot of your AP score results page and upload it on each college status portal. But really, if you got As in all your AP classes they’ll know you passed the exams, so it’s counter intuitive.
@hhjjlala Thank you for your quick response. You have no idea how (at least slightly) relieving it is to hear a solution so fast.
Just email the regional rep at all your colleges and say you inadvertently forgot to self-report your AP test scores. List the tests and scores, and ask that they be included in your application. Thanks them for their time.
You don’t need to send all the tests to every school. It’s self-policing, becasue obviously you will have to send in your tests if you matriculate. You can’t lie about it and they know this.
If this is “the stupidest thing that (you) have ever done”, then you are doing just fine. Don’t be so hard on yourself and don’t be “so angry”. It’s really not a big deal. As @Lindagaf suggested, email the regional reps with an update. But, don’t call yourself an idiot or say it’s the stupidest mistake. They will think you are being WAY too dramatic. Be professional, short and sweet.
