Just wondering if the FA process is the same for returning students. I know FAFSA and CSS still need to be completed but are students required to submit documents via IDOC and is there a verification process (we were selected this year). Thanks.
My son was verified for all four years at his university…and the only reason we completed the financial aid application forms was that they were required for him to receive his merit award. He received no need based aid…at all.
But we complied, and sent everything they ask of us!
My older daughter went to a FAFSA-only school; she was verified at least two of her four years in college. I’m not sure about my younger daughter, who attends a FAFSA/CSS college; she might have been verified all four years.
