Today we received an email from IDOC. When I logged on the IDOC website, it says in bold that no packets will be accepted after January 25, 2008. Can I assume this is an error ? Who out there has experience with IDOC ?

I got the same email. I asuume it's an error.

I have just gotten off the phone with them and was told that the 'deadline' was in error.
They said the it should have read, "January 25, 2009."
Now that doesn't make much sense either, so I suspect that you should just follow the links in the email, open the students file and see if there are specific deadlines for specific items.
I also asked if it was mandatory to send the materials in via the IDOC, or if a student could just send to the schools directly. I was told that if a schools signed up for the IDOC services (read: new product) that a student was compelled to adhere to the rules.
Of course, not many schools have signed up for this yet.

Thanks for calling. I tried, but the line was busy, so I thought I would check here. You're right, 2009 doesn't sound right either. I would think the College Board could have someone proofread their e-mails!

Logging in to IDOC, our documents are due by March 1 for the 2 schools we need to submit them to. I can't believe they want a copy of every 1099 too! They're worse than the IRS.

I followed the links in my email and it said March 10, 2008. I don't know if that deadline is school specific, but it makes sense to me, so it's probably around that time for most schools.

I just got the same email and was wondering the same thing. This is worse than the IRS. I could not believe the personal information they wanted like: what is the make and model of the cars you drive and how much did they cost and when did you buy them.
