IDOC Help?

I'm applying for financial aid and I was wondering if someone could help me. On the IDOC requirements form it states I need a completed signed copy of my parents' 2009 federal income tax return, but what exactly is that? Is it the 1040 and the schedules?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I'm essentially doing all of this on my own and this whole financial aid business is a tad bit more complicated than I thought.

Yeah, the 1040 and all schedules they were required to submit to the IRS.

OK, thanks!

And, behind the 1040 I see two schedules, one labeled schedule A and another labeled schedule M, but the IDOC cover sheet has no bubble to indicate I will be sending schedule M, so am I not supposed to send that one?

I sent all of the forms. There is a box that says Other Tax Forms so I suspected that included any Schedules or forms not included above.

'rentof2:

Does that also include worksheets? No, right? Just the schedules?

sdxdtx, send Schedule M because it’s required to go with your tax return to the IRS. There is a bubble toward the bottom of the IDOC cover sheet for “Other US tax forms” – just fill in that one for Schedule M. (Just like WakeUp says!)

Miss Murder, yeah, no worksheets unless your school has specifically asked for them.
