So, I was provisionally accept as a CIS major but I don’t think I will be able to pass one of my classes this semester. Is it better to drop the class or just stick it out. I’m getting a D

yea you should try to stick it out honestly . you should try talking with your counselor at school to see how to proceed. maybe they can refer you to a tutor or talk to the prof.
