If I am prepared for the AP Euro exam, will I pass the western civ II clep test?

I need to take the clep test to serve as a final grade for one of my classes. If I use AP Euro material to study, will that be good enough for the clep test.

Probably, yes. BUT! Some online research could set your mind at ease. I looked for ‘free clip tests’ online. The one site, free-clep-prep does not have the Western Civ CLEP on their site, so a bust there. SpeedyPrep and InstantCert are both online test prep sites. You could pay a one month subscription ($9.95 at SpeedyPrep, $20 at InstantCert) and have access to their materials. Neither of them require that you buy any additional materials. SpeedyPrep has a money back guarantee if you complete their program but fail your CLEP. It could be that just a couple of hours with these online materials might tell you that AP has prepared you or that there might be a few holes in your knowledge that they can help you fill right there. I’m learning all of this because my son will be starting college soon and, after not knowing about CLEPs for my daughter’s education, we are determined for my son to “CLEP out” of a few classes to save money and time. He’s planning a major that often turns into a five-year degree and we want to gain every advantage. If you do check out those sites, and join, be sure to unsubscribe when you are finished with them! PLEASE repost what you learn about AP preparation applying to CLEPs! Inquiring minds want to know!

Silly auto-correct. I searched for ‘free clep tests’ online.
