How to prepare for CLEP - Western Civ 1&2

Hi all,
I am going to be taking the CLEP Western Civ 1 & 2 on the same date. Do you guys have any book suggestions or advice on how to prepare for this exam? I need to get a 55 on both these tests to get credit? Are they hard?

I already bought the College board Clep book with practice tests, and have the Barrons world history SAT II book. What else should I use to prepare?

Thanks for your help!

Yes, these exams are challenging. You are wise to prepare thoroughly.

The specific exam feedback at degreeforum.net is invaluable. You have to be a member (use code 85722 for a discount). It’s well worth it, though, because you will have access to current feedback on the exams and since exams are periodically rewritten, you need current feedback! You’ll also have access to helpful flashcards.
