ohhhhhhh get rid of the 60 second rule......aghhhhhhhh

jnskate1, what do you mean? Maybe your clock is 8 minutes slow;)

As I said on the community forum, "I think it's a cool feature. Keeps you under the impression it's later than you thought so you get back to what you're supposed to be doing sooner, if that makes any sense" :p

my clock is 11 min off

Same here, my clock is 11 min behind CC's time. Though I never really look at CC's time anyway.

my cc clock is 10 minutes off but I don't really care since I never use it

Mine's about 2 mins off.

the 10 character thing must die

oh gosh that's so annoying. A lot of times you just want to say yes or no or something short and to the point...but you can't

or if you want to bump your thread, you have to type "bump" with a bunch of perids after it...we're so lazy.

ditto astrix, vicks and usna's last post.
coqui, we arent lazy, its just completely unneccessary. the "..." (there is a technical term, elipsis or sth, i forgot) is reserved for moments of hesitation and other behaviors of the like

The moderators mean well, but can be a little to strict closing discussions that are fun.

I disagree. People have lately been getting into really heated arguements that were taking away from the thread. I think they usually wait to see if a thread will cool off before they close it.

celebrian, you are wise. ive always thought of you as an adult, age wise (like 25-45 year old guy who still has time to care for these stressed out teens). hmm, to image all of those posts from a kid a year younger than i... now maybe ive also got the gender wrong... ;)

that's most interesting polter! Thank you very much for the compliment. I'm female, just for the record (for you non-tolkien fans out there!) I try to help out everytime I post, and it's nice to know someone's been paying attention :p

OMG. now i want to and am going to kick myself for thinking you were i guy. im a guy and i seemed to have mislabled you. it seems like there is some sort of stereotypic image ingraved on my cranium where i make myself believe that every witty and satirical (not sure if that describes you but this is the biggie) post must be from a guy. terribly sorry, and please resist even the faintest thought that i am a sexist. in fact, i could go the other way after reading "Reviving Opheilia" and "The World According to Garp"

Don't worry about it. I'm very satirical and witty, and I believe you when you say you're not a sexist :) It's just online we see things differently. I'm not the least bit offended. I guess I can't help my satirical and witty side. :p

It would be nice to have the administration comment on some of these suggestions...

I doubt it, this would probably have to be moved to college forums suggestions

Avoid having high schoolers evaluate chances threads.

Thats my .02 $
