I'm starting to get very nervous, since I have yet to hear anything from Skidmore. I got deferred ED, and no I'm anxiously awaiting my decision. I got into Mt Holyoke, found out this week, does that mean my chances are good for Skidmore?

The truth is in today's messy college world, one college's acceptance means nothing in terms of another college's decision. It's all up in the air and somewhat unpredictable. Mt. Holyoke is a fine school, and so I am sure you are a qualified student. But it is all about what the individual school is looking for.

Good luck!

agreed... but, congrats on on the acceptance! my sister went to mount holyoke and she liked it there :)

Well, it is hard to say, like what katzd08 has reflected. Every school looks for different things. But to give you optimism, I was also accepted at Mount Holyoke as well as Skidmore this year. Perhaps (hopefully)this will also be your situation!

Thanks for the replies!

yepunsarang- I hope that is the case!

just a wonder, will mount holyoke give its admission notification through email or postal mail? i'm still waiting for mine as i live in the uk.

I got an email saying my decision was available online, and then I got a letter after that.
