I'm just wondering, since my high school courseload is not representative of the subjects offered as SAT II (Biology, Geography, British History, Economics, Computer Science, this sort of thing), which SAT Subject test would you consider easiest to selfstudy from scratch? Excluding Literature.

Well there is a biology test (it’s one of the harder SAT IIs).

Biology is pretty easy if you’re good at memorization. I would say study over the summer and you should be fine.

I third Biology, it’s a hard test to score an 800 on, but its doable from scratch. Also, if your high school offers US History, then take the US History test.

I would say Math I.
Biology is hard and if you put a LOT of time into it, you can do well. But it would take a while to learn the material.

Math I, on the other hand, is basically SAT Math, so if you’re decent at that, I would do the subject test.

Math I has a really harsh curve though, and it’s hard to score an 800 on that exam. If you were to do a math test take Math II

Agree with Harambee, IF you have already taken precalc. If not, then Math II isn’t an option.

It’s a pity they don’t have a Computer Sciences SAT, though I can understand the impracticalities of having a half-theoretical / half-computer practical test…

With Geography, British History, and Economics as part of your course load, I’d recommend World History. The curve is pretty generous and you have a good background to begin a self-study from.

If you’re taking computer science and economics, then math is by far the easiest SAT II to take. As said previously, take Math II if you’ve studied precalculus; take Math II if you’ve only gone through trigonometry.
