If I send additional material with my application, will they read it? ( at MIT)

I’m an international applicant applying to MIT in RD. I made an exclusive website for the MIT admissions committee and put the link on the FUN form with a request to open it. Will the admissions committee look at my website? I’ve done some serious work on it.

I also submitted a project report which documents all of my inventions (7 gadgets and 1 game) in a pdf format along with my application. Will they read that? Because I believe that these things are most essential to my application.

If you submit supplements as per their instructions, they will look at it. I can’t say they will watch a bunch of vidoes, etc…because they are very busy. Just be sure you do exactly what they specify.

When my S applied to college (not MIT), for an arts supplement he created a website featuring his work in the arts and provided the link in his application. In the website’s analytics he was able to see how frequently the website was visited. Since he only created the website for application purposes, he knew all the visits were admissions-related. It was viewed multiple times and he was admitted ED to his top choice.

@Lindagaf I sent my project report via email asking them to hook it up to my file by providing my MIT reference ID. In reply, they said that it will be attached

@college_query I also have installed analytics on my website but the results are due 14 march and my website still hasn’t been opened yet. That’s what making me worry whether they have even read my application or not.
