website

i'm new here so sorry in advance if this is a common question

If we submitted a website/link in the additional material section, are the admissions officers guaranteed to look at it?

The website I submitted was visited by an MIT admissions officer only once, but for around 45 minutes (I have analytics running). There weren't any other visits from MIT I could identify. My website is decently trafficked (~500 visitors/month), but most people reach the pages from google searches/links from other sites. The MIT visit was a direct entry.

... so does that mean only one admission officer looked at my app?

thanks y'all

No idea… I did about the same thing and I got a single visit from Cambridge a few weeks ago.

No, they’ll look at it if they can, but it’s not guaranteed.

No, each application is read by many readers. It may be that your website was only visited by one reader, who summarized its contents for the others.
