When I sent scores I accidentally sent both of my scores instead of just my higher one. Will colleges disregard the lower or will it reflect badly on me?

Don’t worry, it won’t negatively affect you.

Ya, I did the same thing. If anything, I think it’ll show colleges that you studied hard and improved (assuming your higher score was the second one?)
And anyways most colleges say that they look at your highest score only, so it’s not a big deal.

I would call College Board and see if you can change what was sent. The beauty of score choice is preventing colleges from seeing the lower scores–they do look and improvement does not impress.

Okay - this is the decision my son is trying to make. His CR and WR scores are significantly higher on the 2nd taking. The M score is only a little higher. Should he just send the 2nd set of scores?

A couple of schools have received both, but a couple (including GA Tech which is a bit of a reach for him) hasn’t received any…hence the decision.

Any thoughts?

Send the second set with the better scores.

^^^
thanks, that’s what I was thinking…but he just wasn’t sure.

Hmom- how could I change what I sent, haven’t the colleges already received both scores if I sent it in June?

this sucks, is there any way to change it if I sent it like 2 months ago
