If I tested as standby

Would I get my ACT scores as soon as I pay my bill online?

Standby scores are usually delivered at a later time. I believe it was 5-8 weeks instead of 3-8.

Asdfghjkl, I was hearing some instances where people who did standby got their scores with everyone else. I was asking when you receive your invoice online, you pay, and do your scores show to view.

From the ACT site:
Scores for standby students take longer. Scores cannot be reported until both the standby request submitted at the test center and the answer document have been processed and computer matched.

Quickerthanswift, … also tested standby. The exam does not show up on my web account yet–is that your experience also? Is your understanding that 1) the exam shows up, 2) you pay fees, and 3) exam scores retrieved online? I believe you still haven’t received an answer as to whether there is a lag between steps 2 and 3.

I tested standby in April. I paid late (ie when people originally got their scores) and I received my scores about 2-3 weeks later. You will get an e-mail, but you can also just log-in every couple days and it might popup. So there is a delay.

For future information … my standby experience follows:

June 25 – grades first released to regular registrants (didn’t get mine as standby)
June 28 – website allowed me to pay the standby fee
June 29 – I received my grades online having been a standby test taker
