Does it matter if i didn't major in bio or chem? i'll still be on a premed track, but is there some kind of benefit for majoring in bio or chem when you apply to med schools?

It really makes no difference what you major in, its far better to major in something you like where you will get good grades rather than majoring in something you think med schools want to see and having your grades suffer for it.
