If I work with an Educational Consultant will that help me get in the quicker

I was looking for ways to get off the college waitlist so, I discover a listing of educational consultants that help students land in the right college so, if I invest in one of those consulting firms will I have a better chance of entrance?

Educational consultants help students find the right colleges and also assist with the college application and admissions process. They make no guarantees as to a student getting into a particular college or getting accepted off the waitlist at a school. Unfortunately, many colleges have huge waitlists and don’t intend to take more than a small number of students from this group. If you have indicated to the school that you want to remain on their waitlist and will attend if accepted, you have made an important step. I have helped students craft a letter to the admissions committee addressing any awards or honors they have received since their application was submitted, but beyond that there is not too much else you can do.

I agree that an educational consultant wont guarantee you getting off of the waitlist. You can always send in supplemental materials, or write a letter indicating your love of the college. Of course, educational consultants or counselors probably have more experience with the application process, having completed it more than just once. If you have the resources, they may offer suggestions you might not have considered previously. It’s your call, but there really isn’t a perfect equation to get off the list.
