...then how can bluedevilmike and bigredmed spend so much time in this forum?

LOL, I've been wondering that myself.

LOL!!!! I call them forum beasts. They come into a thread and own it up. WOOF!

and everyone should be thankful, very thankful.

Check my post times. Invariably they're early in the morning, during lunch hours or , like this one, pretty damn late. Occasionally, I might check in between classes (or like this morning, we had a free hour in between a lecture on surgical approaches to lung cancer and a lecture on hemolytic disease of the newborn).

Also, I'm a great procrastinator - which helps.

@Bigredmed

You've given people like me (procrastinators) hope for medical school.

What level MS are you two?

BDM is a first year, and I'm a second year.

You guys are very helpful

Yes, BDM and BRM we all appreciate you!!!

Thanks to all for the show of support. I don't mean to be horribly paranoid, but my suspicions were aroused when I saw that this was wegman's only post. The accusation that we're faking it has been levelled at us once in the past, and I wouldn't be entirely surprised if it turned out that the poster in question had formed a new screen name.

y would ppl doubt u 2? u guys obv. have knowledge that others dont, like what its like in med school, how to get in, what to do as premed, etc.

I apologize if my post sounded insulting - that wasn't the intent. I've read the posts on this forum for quite some time, and I too am grateful for the advice from both bluedevilmike and bigredmed. One of the "themes" in this forum (and a well-known fact) is that med school is extremely difficult. But seeing how often two student doctors post on this forum, it just made me wonder. By the way, bluedevilmike, note the "student doctor" in my previous sentence. I have no doubt that you are in med school. So there's no need for paranoia and suspicion. I just asked a question that apparently some people pondered as well.

There was nothing in your post that was insulting. It's just that others who've asked this question in the past have done so as an insult, and so I'm a little bit defensive about it.

As mentioned, I don't mean to be too horribly paranoid.

This is an anonymous forum and people can and will lie and give false information. You just have to take everything anyone says with a grain of salt and be wary of someone with 10 posts. BDM has over 3k posts. He really would need to lack a life and morals to post so much posing as a med student and pretending to know about the process.

Are you saying people will give bad advice maliciously?

only if you are their competition. ;)

I'm going to hit you up throughout the year brand, I plan on transferring :P

Red, have you picked you 3rd yr rotations yet? If so, what are you starting off with? Also, how much time is you school giving its students to study for step 1?

Blue, how have classes been for you this year? Which has been either the most time consuming or/and hardest for you. I know the neuroanatomy can be pretty out there since most of the structures all look this same. Is you school based more on PBL?
