If My Rank Isn't On My Transcript, Do I Have To Put It On The Commonapp?

<p>Ok, so my school gives me the option to put my rank on the transcript. Now, I have a horrible rank (127/460), so I chose not to put the rank on my transcript. If I don't mention my rank on the Commonapp, will colleges ever find out my rank?</p>

<p>Other kids from my school are obviously applying to some of the schools I am (and are reporting rank), so will I be in trouble if I am caught not reporting rank?</p>

<p>What should I do?</p>

<p>Your conselor will have to report your rank on the school forms as well as how it is calculated etc. To see what they report, go to the “download forms” tab on the common app home page. You can open a pdf of the school report form . . . no hiding.</p>
