So interesting to think of the series ending when Claire returned to see Jamie!
I will still check out the new season, although am always distracted by how stiff and one-dimensional (sorry) an actress is the young lady who plays Bree. All the other actors are so great!
They did a poor job casting her.
I have NOT read the books, but in the books isnât Bree described as almost Amazon-like, 6 feet tall?
Yes, people are always shocked when they first see her. She has a real physical presence and uses it when she needs to. Sheâs bold. I donât like the showâs Bree at all.
Any thoughts on the latest season? I just finished watching it, and wasnât wowed. I wish they would focus more on the core characters that we already know and love. I think I only read the books up to A Breath of Snow and Ashes, then kind of lost interest because they were all over the place (she really needs a better editor) - felt I had to slog through too much fluff to get to anything of substance. Iâll keep watching though.

Edited to add - I feel like the Claire/Jamie chemistry has totally evaporated.
My husband who didnât read the books, also felt like it was super predictable but that many of the story lines didnât seem true to the characters.
A disappointing season.
We found it very predictable. Everything we expected would happen did happen. Even though the subject of the father of Malvaâs baby was not yet addressed, I guessed who it was, and my interweb research proved me correctâso obvious I thought.
