So,for the class of 2011, what will your reaction be to the three proposed outcomes..

Accepted: I would scream like a girl and become ecstatic:)
Rejected: I would be sad, and let down...
Waitlisted: I wouuld be upset lol.

Accepted: A mix of complete joy and relief
Rejected: A mix of shock and dissappointment depending on the school
Waitlisted: worse than rejection…

Accepted: A rush of satisfaction, I would assume
Rejected: Disappointed
Waitlisted: Annoyed

Accepted: If it was from my top choices, extremely happy and would go out to buy a shirt from that college and wear it to school
Rejected: Either “Eh, it was expected” or “Wow, what am I going to do now”
Waitlisted: Ahhh!!..still a chance tho lol

I feel like a waitlist or defer would make me feel worse than a rejection because I would have to wait even longer.

For my top choice…

Accepted: Scream my head off, and run up and down my street while continuing to scream.

Rejected: Very, very sad and disappointed, but with a feeling of “What else did you expect?”

Waitlisted: Blow my brains out. WAY worse than rejection.

lol I remember when I planned out what I’d do … it’s all instinct yall :)

Accepted to a top choice: ecstatic, like I got a ticket to Hogwarts or something
Wait listed to a top choice: something along the lines of “when will it end?”
Rejected to a top choice: eh, it hurts move on.

Accepted: RELIEF
Wait Listed : at least it isn’t rejection …
Rejected: ■■■

Accepted: (To top choice)-YAY! OMG IT COULD NEVER HAPPENED, (Others)-Yep… expected
Rejected: (To top choice)-Expected, but I got plenty of other good schools!, (Others)-***, didn’t really expect that
Waitlisted: (To all)-Really… make up your mind or I’ll take my money else where

Any schools on my list.

Accepted: …YES YES YES YES YES!!! ‘tiny fireworks of happiness in mind’
Rejected: …sucks…in the wise words of Jay-Z, on to the next one!
Waitlist: Aw man…at least I still have a chance!

If I am accepted to my top choice, I already know that that will instantly become the happiest moment of my life so far, I mean to me I think of it as the fruition of 6+ years of hard work. I try to tell myself that my chances at most schools are low, but for some reason I keep believing that I have a good chance, rejections will disappoint me but I have a good safety school.
