<p>While many of us are sweating through the last few days of waiting for the audition results, I know there are some of you who are just beginning this odessy. The following link was something I came across in a search, so I thought I would share it with you. (We heartily recommend the Peterson's Guide!)</p>
<p>Thanks for the great article. I looked up the National Association of Schools of Music referred to in the article,and searched all the schools we are interested in for D. Some schools appear to not be accredited, such as UCLA or any of the UC’s, Rice and Bard.</p>
<p>I know there’s at least one more. I’ll go dig for that as well.</p>
<p>Edit: I recall an additional discussion, possibly within a different topical thread that ran maybe 5 or 6 posts long, but I can’t locate it. Basically, a bit more in depth (maybe specific institutional detail) about some official school’s positions.</p>
<p>Although the article covers much of what I’ve picked up from the old hands here, it’s nice to have it all in one place - and in a nice format to forward to my D. I found the tips about making hotel reservations early for audition weekends helpful - hadn’t gotten quite so far in the specifics yet.</p>
