Assuming you got into both and your major was undeclared. Which school would you choose and why? Temple or UConn?

She got into Rutgers too. These are her final top two choices. We can afford both. Which would you pick and why. She is a senior. Already accepted at both.
Well UConn is in the middle of nowhere, and Temple is in a city. Which setting did she prefer? I think they’re both solid choices.
you’re lucky to be able to afford them both but personally i’d pick temple just because it’s in a city and also larger than uconn. does one have a clear edge in her major or general fields of interest though?
Ugh! I know. She is completely torn. They are each perfect for her but in different ways. My husband prefers UConn and I am leaning toward Temple. I could see my child being happy and successful at both schools. UConn is getting very competitive to get in. So much so that it ‘means something’. A lot of people have said to her things like; “You got in to UConn? Wow!You must be smart.” She made a lot of friends when she visited and they were all super smart kids. I think she needs to go back to Temple and take a second look. First world problems.
