I think we could all use a distraction from covid, politics and college apps, so here’s something goofy just for fun. We’re an unapologetic geek family through and through; we’ve often had arguments about which superpower is the best. My answer has always been the ability to speak any language; growing up I spoke English, Slovak and French, but sadly I haven’t had use for the last 2 in 30 years. I’ve always wished I had the ability to speak to anyone in their native language, so I pose the question: if you could have any superpower what would it be and why?

Invisibility would be nice for being the fly on the wall during some sort of private discussion. But the ethical issues would haunt me. LOL
Flying? Too afraid of heights.
Teleportation? That’s it! Can see any newsworthy story, travel, etc without the hassle of actually traveling.

Okay this isn’t even a superpower, but I fantasize about being able to sing. Like Broadway quality singing. If you have Barbra Streisand or Kelly Clarkson pipes, do you randomly sing lines home alone and love to hear yourself? Does it feel as good to be the singer as it does to be the listener??

D20 and I belt out songs on our evening golf cart rides; unfortunately for the rest of the neighborhood, neither of us is good 
Maybe that could be the next fun question: what is your favorite song to belt out at the top of your lungs?
I’ve often wished I had the power to reveal people’s own hypocrisy. But then I think that maybe that isn’t such a great idea. So I guess I’d choose earth bending, like Toph from the Avatar.
