If you edit a response post does the person you were replying to get a new notification?

I suppose that we could test this.

Edit: Did you get a second notification?

I do not recall ever getting any second notifications.

Edit2: Might as well try one more time!

Sometimes the edited reply will show up in the “Latest Posts” queue as if it is new.

I don’t think an edited response generates a notification to the person who started the thread or to the person the response is directed to.
