The Freshman Seminar. I'm kinda annoyed I can't do the Outdoor Action as I have to (well, not 'have to' but feel that it's more appropriate to) do Int'l Pre-Orientation.

OA's gonna be the sheez. I can't wait for that. Honestly, though, I'm looking forward to new classes and new people the most. Specializing in something is unheard of for me, so it'll be fun picking classes and a major. satellite eyes

'the sheez'? I'm guessing it's something positive... care to elaborate, phil?

Haha, if I must ;) Outdoor Action (or OA) is one of the best experiences for freshmen, according to freshmen. In fact, while I was at Princeton a couple of days ago talking to a freshman friend of mine, she made sure that I committed to going on an OA trip. She said that she met most of her best friends on the trip, and it really helps in the first couple of weeks/months when you don't know that many people. There are several different options, including just plain camping, hiking, hiking w/ canoeing, hiking w/ rockclimbing, hiking w/ canoeing and rockclimbing, and other things. My friend covered 46 miles in 6 days, which is pretty awesome. You don't have to be a Kenyan cross country gold medalist to make it either. It's just a lot of fun, apparently, and I'm crazy stoked about it. Community Action (CA) is supposed to be cool, too, but...it's not OA :p

i'm excited about EVERYTHING! literally everything. classes, sports, the people, the boys (yes i go to an all girls school), the professors, eating clubs, and OA a lot too. i like to be an active person, so that should be a blast
