If you were a freshman...

in college, where would you go to gain work experience? It's obvious that you won't be given the best of work. But I'm sure that by 3rd year, you would have plenty of experience neh?

Correction: On the basis that you have to work anyways.

Any place that would hire me essentially.

It's pretty difficult for freshmen to get any meaningful internships without some sort of connection.

But if you got hired at McDonalds o.o;; that wouldn't count as work experience unless if you got promoted to manager or something right? XD;;

have you made any effort to look at the requirements for specific MBA programs?

MBA programs care about post graduate work experience so this work experience would be just for you to find a "real job" after college. I recommend getting a job (any job will do) and then continue to look for a better job (then continue to do that, and at some point you will reach your ceiling). Talk to classmates to see what kind of jobs they have. I would also work very hard to gain an internship during the summer.

The exact job you should get would be very dependent on your post-graduation aspirations. Personally, as an MIS major, I worked on campus doing IT work which paid well and provided valuable experience since i never secured an internshijp.

Yes, I have made an effort to look at the requirements for specific MBA programs.

Well, I was wondering because isn't becoming manager of a bank good enough? because I'm assuming (call me naive because I am) that they direct many projects. And I know a few people that became managers at their bank in 2 - 4 years. 1 of which was currently an undergraduate.
