If your application is not complete, do you get "rejection"

I am just having bad days recently, some of the schools I am applying lost my transcript or the post office did. So, I am just wondering, if your application is not completed(like no transcript) Do you get "withdraw" notice, or they don't tell you and just mark you app as "rejection"?

They email you and tell you your application isn’t complete, as far as I know.

Thats one thing that has always puzzled me.

You could NOT submit your HS transcript by the deadline on purpose.
Then they will email you saying you are missing a transcript.
You just send the transcript (which is by now, after the deadline)
And your application proceeds as normal.

Hmm

^ What’s the point of that?

Anyway, a school will give you some time after the deadline to send in all your materials. Eventually, however, they may just withdraw your application or reject you.

Yeah, this happened to me… They “rejected” me because they “didn’t receive my transcripts”… yet the letter they sent me which stated they didn’t receive my transcripts was dated the day AFTER my online app status said they DID receive them…Hmm…

Oh I meant to add a sentence at the bottom of my earlier post:

“ON TOPIC: They will notify you if you are missing any documents. Usually by email, but you can call to double check.”
