<p>I know this thread is old, but I want to comment on the “killing of massive amounts of deers [sic]” statement. (I could definitely rant about many of the other points in the post, but I won’t.) </p>
<p>A LOT of research went into studying the best way to manage the excessive number of deer that were affecting the farm environment. A simple Google search will show a report from a special committee made up by numerous professionals that was appointed to research the deer issue and the best way to manage it. They refer to many scientific articles to back their decision, and it is clear that they didn’t just kill the deer “that was eating their food.” (When in fact, there isn’t really much vegetation on the farm anyway. It DOES NOT supply food to the college and hasn’t done so in MANY years. It’s mostly a forest ecosystem used for research by professors and students.)</p>
