For 9th grade, I studied in Hong Kong and the system they used was IGCSE. On the CommonApp I need to self report my grades, but when it asks for the course level, IGCSE doesn’t show up. What should I put if there isn’t an IGCSE option?
Happened to me couple of years back.
What I did was write IGCSE and the subject name next to it, it isnt really recognised here in the US.
Beware, doing this may result in some universities requesting your certificates for proof later. So make sure you know where they are, some may ask you to mail them.
Write IGCSE English Literature, IGCSE Pure Math (check Honors if need be for academic subjects)…
