Ihum

hi, i am thinking of taking Epic journeys ,modern quest this Q,
Many are saying that the topic really dont matter and it is really the TF
thats going to decide whether youll enjoy the class. can anyone tell me about this IHUM
and I believe Christy Pichichero and Davy walter are the TFs. can anyone have opinions
on these two TFs . Also can you guys rec any good IHUM for winter?

thanks alot for the help

I had Davy this quarter. DEFINITELY try to get him as your section leader. First off, he's an awesome guy (just look at his picture: IHUM Fellow: Davy Walter). But more importantly, he really knows what he's doing (he got a teaching award last year that extended his fellowship from 3 years to 4 four years) and you'll learn a lot about literary analysis.

thanks random

I had epics last year. I hated it, but I am econ/math. That said, it was really easy. The one thing i am a big fan of is the oral final as opposed to a paper or 3 hr written exam. Its over in 15 minutes and easy to bs.

I've also heard walter is good, although I had ferri and medin. If you end up in this class these are good choices in the spring because as i said, they were very easy.

I'm also considering Epic Journeys. But am also considering Arts and Ideas. Any thoughts on which to put as my first choice?

hey thanks 11111. I PM you
