What do you guys think?

never really visited IIT although i did live in chicago for a few years..

WPI is very techy tho, many people have multiple computers and run servers and whatnot in their rooms, personally that turned me off but it did have a bunch of things i liked notably:
the projects (sufficiency, MQP, IQP)
no academic requirements(no classes everyone has to take)
worcester is a cool city (Tho i like Chicago better)

Skraylor, what universities would you recommend in the MORE COMPETITIVE rather than MOST COMPETITIVE league?

i dunno what state you live in but i'd say depending on that, those schools would fall under that category (unless its like CA...i live in VA tho so VTech and UVA were under the more competetive category for me b/c of instate)

WPI and RPI are good schools but both have the seemingly oxymoronic reputation of being good yet easy to get into

CMU i think really falls in between the MORE and MOST levels but some people may disagree, i've not seen their admit percentages lately..

RIT is a good school i hear

other than that i'm really not too sure...i kept most of my colleges to the NE so dont really know much about too many places anywhere else...you may want to look into places like Rutgers, Bucknell, Purdue(?), etc...actually a good thing to do would be to find schools set up with the Morill Land Grant Act (mostly midwest) as those schools will be very good schools yet not top tier (simply because of age and number of applicants)
