<p>Like others said, I hate breathing in/living in smoke. Both my parents smoke almost a pack a day like its nothing. It smells so bad. People at school think I smoke because they can smell it from my clothes & stuff. I've even had people ask me for a "light." I've begged and pleaded , threw out ash trays & cig. packs, yet they still smoke in the house. Everything is so yellow. It's gross.
I especially hate when people smoke right in front of me while walking.
I'm not a fan of any type of smoking, drinking etc. but yeah, cigarette smoking is by far the most annoying.
1 of the highlights of going to college for me is going to be not smelling/inhaling their nasty smoke. I guess the only good thing they accomplished was turning me off from smoking..</p>
<p>If everything goes as I want it to, I'll be breathing in plenty of smog and cigarette smoke...my first choice is in New York.....(yes NYU!)</p>

<p>I hate smoking, I hate it the most though when people smoke around me or smell like smoke, otherwise I don't mind it. Its their choice to be unhealthy by smoking ciggarettes. I am glad that NY imposed the smoking ban in resteraunts.</p>
<p>I love NY's law prohibiting smoking in restaurants. Non-smoking sections could still always smell the smoke which is really nasty. Marijuana is probably healthier than cigaretts.</p>
<p>I have never, not once in my entire life, seen the non smoking laws actually enforced where I live. I swear, once there was this old fart waiting in a clinic that I jsut happened to be in, he looked at the HUGE Ano smoking sign, took out a cigarette and lit it smugly!! That made me so ****ing mad. and I nearly burst when n one told him to put it out!</p>
<p>well i hate smoking, but i believe it techinically helps everyone b/c that's a little less tax that we have to pay as non smokers. tabacco is taxes, so if it was illegal, then the gov would have to tax something else compensate for that. i could be wrong, but i believe i've heard this argument many times.</p>

<p>how nice of you. a lot of them probably have good reasons to be against smoking, having seen a family member or friend die from smoking throughout their lifetime. i mean, why exactly do u like inhaling all that nasty a ss crap into your lungs..Tar, Carbon monoxide..ooo that sounds fun. and! you dont even get high or anything..i'm not seeing an upside.</p>

Agh. That makes me kind of mad, even though it's your original point anyway, and even though I'm not a non smoking zealot by any means. (I smoke cigars occassionally.)</p>
<p>I just think that if smokers want their right to smoke in public places, they should respect nonsmokers' rights to be in smoke free environments in public buildings.</p>
