Illinois Financial Aid Question (Urgent)

I am a college student in Illinois who qualifies for il map grant and have always qualified for the aid. I have already taken 60 credit hours in which I was paid by map grants. Those are the 60 hours I have taken in a college. I also had a previous 34 hours that I earned via placing out of classes due to a combination of ap credits, a course taken at a community college, and placing out of classes. These credits were not funded by the il map grant.

What confuses and worries me is that the max amount of hours you can get map grant funding for is 135 hours. Even if I decide to graduate in 4 years, I will exceed that. Do my credit hours that were not earned in a semester where I was getting grant funding factor in? Or does the state of Illinois keep a tab only of the amount of hours you have completed in the map grant funded semesters?

Here is a link to the isac website where they discuss the map grant program. (Monetary Award Program | MAP | MAP Grant)

Bump Can someone please answer?

Call your financial aid office.

From what I’m reading and how I understand it, the sixty hours of DE count towards your MAP amount (and your 75 hour underclassman limit), though you’re right, the 34 credits won’t.
