My son got an email yesterday from one of the colleges he sent his results to that indicated they had received them. We have not gotten them in the mail, and they are not online yet.

No - I was told they will only be online if you registered online through the website. Otherwise, they are delivered to the school administering the test. Our school counselor said he is hopeful they will be getting them this week.

I’m from Illinois and everyone from my school has gotten their scores back in the mail now. However, many students were able to view them online beforehand. None had ACT accounts prior to testing, but they made accounts, using their social security number, and had access to them. It seems that they were only able to do this if they had used their social security number as an identifier on their registration forms, though.

Still no scores in South Carolina…
I was stupid and didn’t put my ss number on the registration stuff, so don’t have access to see it online either. I am going insane!

Our kids have accounts online for their Feb and June attempts, but the PSAE in April was registered only through the school. They do not have the scores yet. We are in the Chicago suburbs. Kids who took the “regular” national ACT test in April have theirs.

Update/bump on this. I called the ACT - they said that some scores are done and some aren’t (mine aren’t). They said if you had an ACT online account set up before taking the test, they would update online, EVEN IF YOU DIDN’T REGISTER ONLINE. That part was new info. So if that is the case, you can check the website rather than running to the mailbox - at least that’s what they told me on the phone yesterday.

I’m from Illinois here and I got my score in the mail today. We took the ACT plus writing. I already had a preexisting ACT online account and I can confirm that they DO NOT post the scores on the online account you have. They may post it on mine but as of now there is nothing online.

@enginuity2015 I’m from central Illinois and did take the writing, but that’s probably irrelevant now that you have gotten your scores.

For eveeyone’s benefit, from what I have seen and heard, you definitely can get your scores from state tests online before they come in the mail. I had a previous ACT account and did. Even some kids from my school who did not have a previous account were able to create one after the test and receive their scores via the website. The common thread between those students and I was that we included our social security numbers on our paper registration. I believe this helps ACT link your scores to your online account with absolute certainty, allowing them to be seen online immediately.

We are in Illinois, and my son was definitely able to view his scores online before he received them in the mail. He took the ACT for the first time in February.

Bump/update on this = ACT people said that they actually mail to the home FIRST, then update the website as they can. Our kids’ scores were mailed out on 5/27 (yes, they will tell you that info) - expecting them today or tomorrow latest. Finally. Good luck everyone!
