so i've recently become obsessed with readin about the illuminati- which, if you don't know, is a supposed powerful group that controls all media. i can't totally explain it, but there are quite a few good videos about it online. what do you guys think?

and i meant *reading. dang ipod keyboard!

I played the board game Illuminati a couple of times.

I hate that stupid conspiracy theory stuff. If that were the case, we are all the Illuminati. We all control the media in a way, and other events. The events that happen, can be ignored by the people, and events that the people want to hear will be put out. We live in an age were the media is failing to capture out attention like it used to, the internet controls everything. News is spread on Facebook by real people, and not on tv with a script.

And, this Illuminati also claims that all leaders, and historic events are all controlled. Obama is allegedly apart of the Illuminati, and so was various leaders. In truth every leader is controlled, a government is never controlled by one man, not even a monarchy. The people have the power in everything, the people control everything. The people are us.

i like your take on things toxic93 but some of the symbols of this supposed illuminati group are in literally every popular music video. things like covering up one eye, the all seeing eye/pyramid, the a-ok sign representing 666 are in lady gaga, jay-z, beyonce, rihanna, and others’ videos. it just seems like it can’t just be one huge coincidence.

Oooor, someone just picked out a bunch of very common symbols and gestures and assigned them to an 18th century Bavarian organization.

The covering of one eye. Has nothing to do with the all seeing eye. The all seeing eye symbolizes God is watching over everyone of us, and see’s everything we do. Because he is omnipresent. To be honest, when were looking for something bad, we will find it. No matter how small of a detail it is. This stuff is so popular in my school, and how some believe the Jay-Z, Beyonce, and Rihanna worship the devil. I say non-sense, I did an amazing research on this stuff.

maybe. i’m not like hardcore into believing this stuff but i think it could possibly exist, but I don’t really buy into any of the stuf about mj/tupac being killed over speaking out against the illuminati.

I guess it can make an interesting read, but it’s not something I’d take seriously. Sort of how I’d sometimes watch alien related documentaries, even though I’m pretty confident there are no aliens on Earth.

Haha, I never heard this before. However, I heard something from my American Government professor. He said:

The Bilderburg Group is the head of the Illuminati, which is the largest Satan worshiping organization in the world. It funded the production of the Wealth of Nations, which gave us Capitalism, so its symbol is on the back of the dollar. It recruits at Yale through Skull and Bones, where George W Bush was a member. The Bilderburg Group arranged the assassination of John Kennedy because he was going to tell everyone the truth about Roswell.

I drew a chart in my notes.

@BillyMc that’s really interesting! I wish my teachers told us stuff like this!

anyway, whether the illuminati exists or not it’s still fun to wonder if these secrets really do go on without any of us knowing…

You know what else? The Walrus was Paul!

If the Illuminati is real. Then the theory that the US government killed Marilyn Monroe and made it seem like a suicide is real. Since she was being public about her and JFK having an affair. And Obama winning was set up so Hilary won’t win. And many celebrities are here to brainwash us into believing in satan. May seem far-fetched, but anything is possible. That’s if the Illuminati thing is real.

Everyone kind of knew… The media was just much more respectful back then, and didn’t want to screw with the guy that was holding the US back from the brink of nuclear war.

But Bill Clinton is in the Bilderburg Group! So it should have been Bus-Clinton-Bush-Clinton to keep the cycle of power going how the elite wanted it! Now Obama is in danger! See, I can do it, too. Doesn’t mean it’s true.

Celebrities are here because people are easily amused. Honestly, Satan? Also, tons of people believe in Satan. 2 billion+, including most of America. I mean, very few worship him, but plenty believe that he exists in opposition to God.

Then the Illuminati is not real. I mean, it was. In Bavaria. In 1776. But not, you know, current. And they were never Satan-worshipers, were they?

WHAT IF THE CONSPIRACY THEORIES ARE JUST A CONSPIRACY TO DISTRACT US FROM THE REAL TRUTH?!?!?!

(that was sarcasm)

Yea, I don’t believe in the Illuminati. The whole post was if the stuff is real. And very true. If you believe in God, you believe in satan. I still believe everything happens for a reason, like this reply. But, the whole thing with the Illuminati is very silly.

here is my take on the society:
Perhaps the society is real, but it may not be as big and impressive and dangerous as people make it out to be. That is the hype they try to build up so people would buy into. And as to why some famous people do things that sometimes might give away they are part of that society? I think those actions are mere coincidence, maybe they just look “cool” when they do something peculiar or etc.
About the symbols in many music videos like some suggest, I think the artists who put those in just to want to build up some scandal about them. Thats it

Yeah, Hindus don’t exist.

Well, not necessarily. Just most Christians. Which was my point.

Agreed. Not sure if “Illuminati/Free Masons/Templars/Da Vinci Code!” or “The world will end in 2012!” is more annoying.

The 2012 thing is way more annoying, since more people believe it. You know how many times people claimed the world will end. We were supposed to die 10yrs ago in 2000. A decade has passed an were still here.

Did colossal **** happen in 2000 like riots? I was only 6 so I don’t remember really. If so it could be worse for 2012. Did anybody notice that after 2000, the quality of entertainment (specifically music) dropped off significantly?
