ILR ED vs. Penn Wharton ED

I have a sibling who currently attends Cornell and he suggested that I apply ED to ILR next year, I have also been considering applying ED to Wharton at Penn as I have strong business ec’s. I am interested in attending law school after graduation. Which one should I apply ED to?

For what it’s worth, ILR isn’t Cornells business school, that is AEM. In all honesty, you’ll be fine in terms of law school with either of these, ILR or Wharton. Putting it into perspective, you probably have a better chance at ILR, it’s less selective than Wharton, and your sibling attending will help. Use that info as you wish.

Many ILR grads go to law school. My D1 applied to ILR because she planned to attend law school. She did everything, short of applying, to attend law school including taking the LSAT. But she ended up in finance. She is doing very well.

While ILR is not Cornell’s business school, one can obtain a well-rounded business education there. Required Econ, HR, OB, & Stats courses can be supplemented with accounting and marketing courses from AEM or SHA, or even logistics from ORIE in Engineering. (A bit off-topic!)

And, yes, as @morrismm said, many ILR grads go on to law school.
