this is for any current student or any other knowledgable person... what differences exist between these schools... what are the environments like at each one?... any insight is appreciated, thanks...

the only big differences is the programs offered in the schools.

Student body will be pretty much the same with the exception of HumEc and ILR having more NY State residents. ILR will also have a closer 'bond' feeling to it since it's much smaller than the other two schools you listed.

Other than that, there isnt much difference between the schools. As a Cornell student, you can take a bunch of classes in the colleges regardless of which colleged you're enrolled under.

The distribution requirements of the three schools will most likely be the biggest difference. Also, CAS students can take courses at any college with no limit, while students from the other two are limited.

there's plenty of credits students can take in the statutory schools from the endowed colleges. If they take more than 60, they just have to pay a bit more

yeah i read if u take more than the limit u have to pay the tuition of the endowded colleges. and a quick question can you audit a class? if u rather be enlightened instead of takings a grade for the class. and do they check attendance in all classes, so if u really were interested in a certain class and it was filled can u sit in anyways

you have to pay the difference in tuition for each individual credit. But dont worry, i've never encountered anybody who has had this problem.

actually as a CAS student you need to take 100 credits IN A&S. this is ALOT as you will realize if you ever come to cornell CAS.
