financial aid

ok... so i'm a NYS resident.. which means that it would theoretically be cheaper for me to apply to HumEc or ILR... but since Cornell will meet my full need, wouldn't i be paying the same amount if I went to CAS?

Also, i would like to apply ED, but I'm worried that if i do, they may not meet my full need... any insight into this?

ok... ignore the second question... i might want to look down the threads before i ask stuff...

I think meeting your full need means Cornell will grant you what it deems you need sparing no expenses. If full need means they'll pay every cent of your tuition then yes, by all means, go for CAS if that holds majors that interest you. As for ED: your fin aid will be the same no matter what, it is illegal for Cornell to deny you aid that you would've otherwise gotten without ED.

ok cool... thanks for the reply
