I got an 800 on math IIC (i have no clue how I got it...I thought I did very bad...but apparently the SAT gods smiled down at me)

BUT I only got a 710 on math I (i thought I did really well on that...but i must have made careless errors). The 710 is a decrease from the first time I took the SAT MAth 1C ( got a 720- 1st time.)
Will the 710 hurt me a lot?????

A 710 is not a decrease from a 720, it's just statistical "noise." Your next score could be a 730 and all three scores would essentially say the same thing.

If you get an 800 on the Math 2C, you are actually in the 88th percentile. However, on the SAT 1, a 710 will get you in the 95the percentile. Maybe the 96th.

The SAT I stresses reasoning and assumes you can do the math whereas the SAT II stresses the math itself (note the relative lack of word problems).
