<p>I'm a SF in Oklahoma with a 213 PSAT. (73 CR, 65 Math, 75 Writing). I'm a little worried about the SAT. I'm registered for October 1st, and I've never taken it before. On my practice tests, my highest scores are 710 CR, 610 Math, and writing I don't know because I haven't had an essay graded. I took those practice tests last year before the PSAT, so I've probably gotten better.What kind of score do I need to make to become a Finalist? I only have one shot, because the Nov. and Dec. test dates conflict with regional honor band/All-State auditions.</p>
<p>Usually, a student only needs to get about a 1960. If you get a 2000, then you’re certainly safe.</p>
<p>Be sure to sign up for the Nov test as well - in case you don’t do well on the Oct test. Dec is the last test that counts. </p>
