wow... you got in already?...

i thought they send mails out starting from very end of march or beginning of april....

congratz!!!! though:)

CALS has rolling admission beginning in mid-February.

congrats-- did you find out first online?

No, it came in the mail - I have yet to receive an email.

Gratz! It's a huge accomplishment. Are you going to attend :)?

Does your application status page say that you are accepted?

The application status page doesn't say yet - but maybe it will soon.

As far as attending - see my "MSU with an awesome offer...or Cornell?" post for more information. :)

oh nice! Congratulations!

Oh, I remember that post...Pick Cornell :p

yeah, pick Cornell. This is a once-in-a-lifetime offer you have, choose wisely. MSU is just trying to lure you (a top student) away from schools like Cornell so they can boost some of their stats. Take a look at the Cornell viewbook and realize that you have been offered admission to this elite university.

Also, congratulations, you have accomplished something tremendous!

Looks like I gotta wait for the mail... I was hoping they'd have it online first but I guess its a good thing cuz I don't have to keep checking.

congrats larson!! what major did you apply to?? I really dont understand why they dont post online before they send the letter...it seems so odd!

Oh sorry - I applied to animal science. I'll be "pre-vet", even though it's technically not a major.

What is CALS? I have never heard of it...do you mean CAS?

Congrats! I'm a freshman AnSci, pre-vet. PM if you have any questions! I posted in your MSU/Cornell thread before, but I'll say again that I reccommend Cornell. I was offered great financial aid and an Honors Program at UMass-Amherst and I don't regret choosing Cornell at all. Cornell has such amazing opportunities for pre-vets: I work in an animal science lab, and one of the undergrads also working there is having a "tough time" choosing between UPenn, Cornell, Colorado State, and Tufts for vet school.

CALS = College of Agriculture and Life Sciences

CAS = College of Arts and Sciences

got it today(March 17) in the mail. :) Ive been checking the online status page everyday and it still doesn't say anything. So to those who are still waiting, just wait for the mail to come. The letter was dated March 15, so I assume that the rolling admission process is continous and they send them out every two or three days

Oh yeah, my major was bio sciences

did you also apply college of agri. and life sciences also??

is the college of arts and sciences also rolling?? (i applied to CAS)

College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Arts and Science is not rolling, so you will hear in two weeks.
