I'm an int student, recently awarded a natl fellowship. Should I inform US schools??

I've recently found out the results of a National Fellowship program examination and am eligible for a research fellowship in my home country. I was wondering if I should email the grad programs I applied to in US schools to inform them of this update?? Would it impact my application in any way?? I haven't heard back from quite a few schools so far. Advice on how to proceed would be much appreciated! Thanks! :)

Can you take the funding to the US? If so, it might help, although keep in mind that most programs have already accepted their incoming students.

No I can’t take the funding to the US. I’m asking if I should inform grad school adcoms about it in case this enhances their view of my potential as a graduate student since this fellowship exam was quite lengthy/detailed and covered both general and subject specific topics.
