<p>you need to cut before you apply, because you are going to find that you paid all that money only so that you can postpone cutting them down to ONE choice. why not cut now and save money? i can’t really understand your point of view at all.</p>

<p>Yea I was shocked about the steep decline in the acceptance rates too.</p>
<p>so any more advice on how to shorten my list of 24 schools</p>
<p>Hopefully, you applied EA and rolling admissions to all schools that offer those options. If so, you will know soon if you are in your early choices. IF you get into JHU, it is is game over. If you get into any of the other early schools, cut out the schools that are lower in preference than the schools that accepted you.</p>

<p>i think you’re schools are too all over the place. they’re in different states in diff parts of the us. they have different student bodies. </p>
<p>really think about how far youre willing to travel. carrying EVERYTHING you need on a plane is not that easy.</p>
