<p>In HI, CC & most schools are mostly Asian; depends a lot on where you’re talking about & the general population of the area. The term “Asian” covers a HUGE range, especially in HI, including pacific & south pacific islanders.</p>

<p>Relax. I took all my courses in my freshman year at a CC. Not only did it save me money, most of the classes are alot easier, and the teachers were much more friendlier than them professors in Uni.</p>

<p>Another Asian stereotype (I’m Asian by the way) is to go to cc so that you can

  1. live with your parents (commute to school) to keep the family unit together
  2. help your parents in various ways (work in business or around the house or family)
  3. save money since many Asians do not like to rack up big debt
    So I’d say that you are like many Asians that I know</p>

<p>When you’re getting out of school with less/no debt and your peers have huge loans, you will be happy you went to CC.</p>
