I just got back from 22 days backpacking around Europe and it was amazing! Now I'm ready to get back on the app process. Luckily I did a bunch before I left.
How far a long is everyone else?

Well, like you, my candidate son is off doing his things ... he's @ PA Governor's School until Aug so allow me to update you on his process.

He's got it all in process. What's holding him up is ... his personal statement. He labors with those things.

Same story with ROTC app. Well along and needs that brief, done-well essay.

Perhaps you know answer to a question he's unclear about ...
CFA ... is that pass-fail? Do variations on performance (once a person has passed) have impact upon admission board review?

Thanks, welcome home, good luck.

With the PAE, it was pass/fail...sometimes, though, admission officers briefing the board would emphasize how many pullups a candidate did...so with that being said, parts of the CFA (or even total score) could and might be used in front of the admissions board...as with any other part of the admission process, it is always best to try your hardest!

for the edifying answer to a process that can be confusing. Especially to the easily confused.

We appreciate your clarity and conciseness.

Best.
