my DoDMERB examiner told me i have flat feet (pes planus). I was looking a the dodmerb page and it says a history would dq. however, i dont have a history, nor do i experience pain from it. any idea if it would be an automatic dq or not?

and can someone explain the USMA waiver process to me? thanks

i had a similar problem for the AFA. never been observed to have had flat feet before, never had any problems, but while standing on that freezing floor the doc thought i had flat feet. nothin came out of it, so maybe he didnt write it down.. but i guess you'll find out!

As I understand it, USMA will automatically consider you for a waiver if you are competitive. They will ask you and/or your doc for more info regarding your feet, and they have their own independent doctors look at each waiver case individually, and make their decision. Should not be a problem if it does not cause you any problems. Good luck.

For my DoDMERB the doctor said i had the same thing, but i didnt even know this was a problem till she told me. I have never had a problem with my flat before too. Even though she made a mark of it, I still was found to be medically qualified. I hope the same happens for you.
