This is a college search forum for students searching for colleges to apply to. Go to tutoring at your school. If you are having stress or other factors that may be causing this problem, go today to your college health center and ask to talk to a counsellor. Go today. Then go and get academic help. Find out what resources there are for students who don’t know how to study. But it seems too late to salvage this semester. You are past the point of worrying about disappointing your parents. Now you need to plan for what you can do, Ask for your parents help. Talk to the office of the dean of students or whatever department you need to consult with and find out if you will be dismissed or if you can make it up. Find out if there are any steps to be reinstated.

Look, we can’t help you. I know that’s not what you want to hear but the only person who can help you succeed is you. Buckle down.

If you are failing classes, then you are probably not in the right field for you. This is going to sound terrible, but you are almost always going to disappoint your parents if they have such rigid expectations for you. I suggest lessening your load of pharmacy courses…maybe replace half of them with a field of courses that you are actually interested in. Alot of people struggle in finding their way during college, so don’t feel bad. I struggled too, because I did not have enough self confidence or belief in myself to realize that the field I love is chemistry. I ended up not declaring my major until the end of sophomore year, but kicked butt and caught up (possibly exceeded!) my peers who had already decided they were budding chemists when they matriculated into college. I still have regrets, like being unable to start undergrad research until junior year, and not choosing a group that is highly published…but I am here and I field confident that at least I am in the right field for me!

Maybe try anthropology, or take a history class, whatever interests you, along with cutting down your pharm classes. That way the transition is more gradual for both you and your parents. What courses are you taking that you are struggling with? Most universities have free tutoring programs for math and science courses, and some have writing centers that can help with developing english/literature analysis skills. Talk to your advisor, and if you’re super stressed, talk with a school counselor (these types of services are free at many universities). College is about finding out what you want to do, and unfortunately, a lot of us can’t find out until we try (and FAIL) at least a couple of times.

OR maybe I have misjudged and you are in the right field but you are just struggling academically. Talk to your professors, see them in office hours, get tutoring etc. You’ve got to decide what you want to do (not your parents), so make a decision and follow through. Whatever you choose, give it 100% commitment and I promise you will see the fruits of your labor.

You’re probably gonna go on academic probation if you aren’t there already… Honestly, you need to reconsider your major because pharmacy clearly isn’t for you.

Self diagnosis, do you know why you fail? not attending classes, too much partying, not understanding the material, do you ask for help?

Do you want to do pharmacy? It’s a graduate level degree (if you’re in the US), so it’s not exactly in the “I just gotta do it 'cause my parents want me to” category. It’s gone a bit too far if that’s where you are.
