help .

1.) How prepared are you?
2.) Have you taken a course in that subject? And how long ago was that?

For (1) - it depends on the subject. Math assesses developed skills while history assess your ability to memorize facts.
For (2) - if you're already taking an AP / honors course for the subject, then go for it. If you have studied the subject earlier and have done well in it, also give it a try.

Tips:

1.) Take a practice test from CB's SAT II book and see how you do. The score's pretty accurate.
2.) Get a lot of sleep
3.) Stay positive
4.) Eat a healthy breakfast
5.) DO NOT CRAM THE NIGHT BEFORE (unless the information really sticks)
6.) Gather the stuff that you're going to bring to the test the night before (not morning of)
7.) If all fails, just cancel your scores after the test. It's not the end of the world. =)

Good luck!

I have a question. Would you really need to cancel your scores? Can't you withhold your scores just like with a AP score? And how important are subject tests? I'm taking bio, lit and history only because i'm in corresponding AP courses. Do colleges look at them when admitting you, or are they just to see what level you would start off at in college?
