I'm going crazy thinking about graduation!

Hello people I'm hoping you can help me with my dilemma. I started out freshman year as a premed and biology major and quickly learned that wasn't for me. Now lets fast forward to my junior year. I am double majoring in international studies (global health) and communication studies and I'm minoring in French and Anthropology. I love all of my classes and I am excelling far more than I was in my premed classes. I studied abroad in France over the summer and I'm looking for an internship for this school year or next summer. I still really worried about graduating and not finding a job! I love my degrees and minors, but I wonder if they are useless. I am afraid of not finding a job with a good salary to pay back my loans. Should I have stayed a premed major? Or should I try to do another major before it's too late?

No, don’t go back to pre-med. Instead, stick to the fields touching international studies (global health) and communication studies: find internships (paid or unpaid), do independent projects, find jobs, join and participate in professional associations — now! What’s your needed income for your first year out of school? (BTW, sometimes a year-long paid internship post-grad can be more enriching than a “first job.”) Figure out your post-grad budget as far as possible.

I also was worried that I had a “useless” major at graduation. Stick with what you love. My “useless” degree still landed me a job in my field, granted I’m underpaid and don’t make enough to pay back my loans. On the bright side, I’ve looked into other jobs and I’m getting interviews for positions that pay $40k+. It’s all a stepping stone. Even if you don’t land a perfect job first, look at it as a chance to learn and gain experience for your next position.
